How do you run wires and pipes through insulated plasterboard?

Normally a circular disc drill bit would be used to drill through the insulation and plasterboard, and the wire or pipe will be brought through the hole.  When drilling the hole for the wire and pipes, always remember to seal it afterwards. There are two ways you can do this: tape and skim around the area, or fill the hole with expanding foam. When dealing with electrics you should always use a qualified electrician.
